Let them eat cake! Apparently British Prime Minister David Cameron needs to be whined and dinned at an NCAA basketball tournament game in Ohio. At least Obama thinks so. Obama is of course a big fan of basketball. I don’t know of too many Brits who are into basketball. Soccer or Cricket is more their style. But since Obama is still on the tax payer’s teet, why not waste their money and inconvenience the people at the tournament by showing up? I mean, it’s not like there’s anything of importance going on in the world now. Not let Taliban threatening revenge over the U.S. solider who shot up 16 Afghan civilians this past weekend. It’s not like gas and food prices are skyrocketing. And remember, according to Obama, Iran is a tiny country and not a serious threat.
“It’s an opportunity for the president and the prime minister to spend some time together outside of the official trappings of Washington and the White House, and an opportunity for the president to show the prime minister a slice of American life,” said presidential spokesman Jay Carney.
