Originally it was reporting that Rep. Steve Scalise of Louisiana was shot in the hip and would be fine after surgery. Turns out the Bernie Sanders supporter who shot Scalise did more damage than first thought. Rep. Scalise is now in critical condition at MedStar hospital in Washington D.C.
Rep. Scalise was critically injured and remains in critical condition. The other patient is in good condition.
