Donald Trump is claiming on Twitter he told Mike Pence to leave the 49ers-Colts game if players disrespected the country. They did, kneeling during the National Anthem, and Pence picked himself up and walked out.

Regardless of who’s idea it was, I love the move, except for one thing. How much did this all cost with security and everything? It’s pretty obvious this was pre-planned by Trump and/or Pence to leave the football game. I like the idea, but I’m also a fiscal hawk. So how much did it cost? Since the media is so obsessed with Trump, I’d bet we actually get answers on this. It wouldn’t be concealed like Obama’s various vacation costs, sports attedance security costs or golfing costs.
