While Scot Peterson was cowering in fear, the three other deputies on the scene didn’t go after Nicolas Cruz either. And now we know why. Documents show that Scott Israel’s office captain told the deputies on the scene to “form a perimeter” during the shooting, instead of going after Cruz and taking him out before he could kill any more. Just more epic failure by Scott Israel and the entire bunch of keystone cops at the Parkland Sheriff’s office. They would have been better off with Boss Hogg and Roscoe P. Coltrane of the Dukes of Hazzard. Instead, they are stuck with David Hogg.
