Jahana Hayes only voted for the Laken Riley Act in the first place because she’s in somewhat of a competitive district in communist Connecticut… But now the mask is finally off.. Apparently CNN held a town hall last night that no one watch, and Hayes now admits, she regrets voting for the Laken Riley Act that was signed by Trump in January, shortly after taking office. The law requires the Department of Homeland Security to detain illegal aliens charged with crimes like theft, shoplifting, burglary, assaulting a police officer, or causing serious injury or death. It also allows states to sue the federal government for failing to enforce immigration laws.
How could you be against such a law? Well, she’s a Democrat so that’s how.
