MS-13 members often use tattoos to signify allegiance, including “M” and “S,” the number 13, devil horns, or Santa Muerte imagery. Kilmar Abrego Garcia has tattoos associated with MS-13 and they were photographed during Chris Van Hollen’s pubicity stunt in El Salvador.. The MS-13 tattoos are very specific:
A marijuana leaf (representing the “M”), a skull or smiley face (for the “S”), and the number 13, visible during Van Hollen’s visit
Symbols like “see no evil, hear no evil, say no evil” and a devil with horns, which are said to indicate high rank within MS-13.
