Stephen Colbert has reportedly already secured his next gig following the recent cancellation of “The Late Show.”
The comedian, 61, is staying put in the world of late-night after signing on as a guest star in the CBS series “Elsbeth,” Vulture reports.
Colbert will portray a late-night talk show host in the comedy series, which made its debut in February 2024.
He will play the host of the fictional show “Way Late with Scotty Bristol” in the network’s spinoff of the hit series “The Good Wife.”
Production on the episode began last week in NYC, and according to the outlet, it was “almost surely planned” before his show was axed by CBS a few weeks ago.
