D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals vacated Boasberg’s contempt order entirely, with Judges Katsas and Rao siding against him and Obama-appointed Judge Nina Pillard dissenting. This ended the contempt proceedings, allowing the Trump administration’s deportation efforts to continue without penalty.
