Well this sucks….. I’m hesitant to blame DHS funding for this, but it more than likely is a contributing factor.. Late last night and Air Canada flight leaving LaGuardia Airport in New York crashed into a Port Authority truck, in the dark of night… The pilot and co-pilot were killed and 41 people were injured, some severely.
Two pilots were killed in the incident and 41 others sent to hospital in the horrific crash that obliterated the front of the Bombardier CRJ-900 jet and forced the major travel hub to close for most of Monday, the NY Post reports.
The pilot and co-pilot died in their seats in the mangled front of the aircraft, sources told the Post, with many of the 72 passengers and four crew members on the landing jet also injured.
No identities have yet been released.
