Trump cancels US delegation’s Pakistan trip

Tonight Trump will roast all the media hacks and their “pocket square protests”, during the “nerdprom”, also known as the White House Correspondence Dinner in Washington D.C. But before that, he pulled the plug on his delegation going to Pakistan to negotiation with the Iranian terrorists, as the blockade and ceasefire remain in effect.

President Trump has called off sending a US delegation to Pakistan Saturday for peace talks with Iran – canceling a trip he said would be a waste of time and telling a Post reporter in Islamabad to “come home.”

“I’ve told my people a little while ago they were getting ready to leave, and I said, ‘Nope, you’re not making an 18 hour flight to go there. We have all the cards,” Trump told Fox News in a phone call Saturday.

The president’s comments came after members of an Iranian delegation who had been meeting independently with top Pakistani officials had already left Islamabad.

Prior to Trump’s cancellation of the US delegation’s planned travel to Pakistan on Saturday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi was set to return to Islamabad Sunday, Al Arabiya reported, citing Pakistani sources.
