Alabama has two, black majority gerrymandered Democrat districts, but they will be going away for this year’s election…. The governor Alabama has called for a special session of the state legislature to redraw the state’s districts and get rid of the two “black majority” districts. This means two more Republican seats in the House, and two less Democrats.. Great news!
Regarding our own pending redistricting litigation, I remain hopeful Alabama will receive a favorable outcome from the U.S. Supreme Court, which is why I am now calling a special session of the Alabama Legislature. #alpolitics pic.twitter.com/yQY6qdQjSq
