After disappearing from the campaign trail for several days after the raid of her Washington D.C. home, she gave a disastrous interview to a less than softball MSNOW where she claimed “not to my knowledge” when asked if she married her brother.
Now she’s playing victim some more, claiming she is moving out of her Washington D.C. home, because she feels “unsafe”.
In an exclusive interview with MS NOW, US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar said she no longer feels safe in her Washington home and is planning to move out after federal agents searched the property as part of a criminal investigation into possible irregularities in her family’s immigration paperwork.
She denies any wrongdoing and says she’s confident she hasn’t done anything wrong. Authorities have also sought evidence from some of her relatives.
Omar accused the Trump administration of trying to intimidate her after President Donald Trump suggested she could face jail or deportation.
She was born in Somalia and is a naturalized US citizen.
