In Maine now too? I wouldn’t be surprised to see this in Minnesota, but Maine? And is this even legal? Somali “translators” were seen helping voters at the polls in Lewistown, Maine..
Somali voter has a friendly chat with the election warden in English, then calls over a "translator" who clearly violates procedure by handling the ballot.
Oh, and this "translator" is the former finance minister of Jubaland, Somalia: https://t.co/SPAp6wHIlM

🚨🚨🚨 HOLY SMOKES. THIS IS INSANE.
DOJ is NOW investigating CCTV footage from Lewiston, Maine City Hall that appears to show Somali NGO “translators” coaching migrant voters AND even FILLING OUT their ballots.
U.S. Attorney for Maine Andrew Benson confirmed his office is reviewing the video for voter intimidation and election interference. His words: “We will not tolerate threats to the integrity of our elections.”
The footage (obtained by The Maine Wire via public records request) covers ~140 HOURS of early voting and reportedly shows 200+ non-English-speaking Somali voters being walked through the process by a handful of NGO staffers.
Maine law is clear: translators CANNOT approach voters unasked, CANNOT influence their choices, and CANNOT touch the ballot.
Yet the video allegedly shows exactly that — on an industrial scale.
This is happening right now in a key Senate race state.
Watch the footage. Share this. Election integrity is on the line. 🔥👀
