THIRD TIME’S A CHARM? Former New Jersey Republican Gov. Chris Christie said he is "going to think about" making a third run at the party’s presidential nomination following the GOP’s dismal midterm performance.
Christie said Tuesday’s election results have prompted him to reconsider his political future, with a decision potentially coming within months.
Christie, who unsuccessfully sought the Republican presidential nomination in 2016 and 2024, suggested that a third campaign could prove successful, pointing to former President Ronald Reagan.
"If I run this time, it’ll be my third time running. Reagan got elected on his third time running, so maybe there’s a bit of a charm to that," Christie said.
