So far, with all the primaries tonight, still no signs of the “blue wave.” There is however an anti #NeverTrumper wave. Martha Roby, the #NeverTrump rube from Alabama’s 2nd congressional district has been forced into a runoff with someone named Bobby Bright as Roby could only manage to get about 38% of the vote. Bright got about 28% with five candidates running. Democrats have no shot at picking up this seat, no matter who win the runoff. The Republican to Democrat turnout in this district tonight is over 3:1 GOP. Roby likes to call herself a conservative, but she’s not. She in the Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell class of the Republican party.

It wasn’t too “bright” of Martha Roby to go #NeverTrump. Especially in a district like AL02. As much as I dislike the rube Roby, remember that Bobby Bright was a Democrat, so I don’t know who I’d vote for here if I were in Alabama.
