Rod Blagojevich and Patti Blagojevich

Blagojevich Corruption ProbeAh, Rod Blagojevich, aka Milorad “Rod” R. Blagojevich and wife Patti Blagojevich another in a long list of shaddy Obama Hussein “friends”. Rod Blago was the 40th Governor of most corrupt state in the union, Illinois. Rod Blagojevich and his chief of staff, John Harris, were arrested on December 9th, 2008 by FBI agents for what U.S. Atty. Patrick Fitzgerald called a “staggering” level of corruption involving pay-to-play politics in Illinois’ top office. Blagojevich was accused of multiple g criminal conspiracies, not the least of which was the “alleged” attempts by the governor to try to sell or trade the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by Barack Obama in exchange for financial benefits for the Blagojevich and his wife Patti Blagojevich. Blagojevich was also accused of obtaining campaign contributions in exchange for other official actions. How does this relate to Obama? Start with Obama’s Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. Chicago FOX News reported that Emanuel discussed potential replacements for Obama’s U.S. Senate seat with Blago.

blago-obama-handshake.jpgThis contradicts what Obama so far has said, that no one on his staff had participated in any discussions with the governor. However, according to senior advisor David Axelrod on November 23, 2008, “I know he’s talked to the governor and there are a whole range of names many of which have surfaced, and I think he has a fondness for a lot of them.” After the arrest, Axelrod put out a statement that “he misspoke”. Not only that, but I guess Hussein Obama’s “no contact” spin includes this handshake of Obama and Blago during the the National Governor’s Association in Philadelphia on December 2nd, 2008. Patti Blagojevich real estate deals are under federal scrutiny, and Patti’s rants, now infamous, stand out on descriptions of recordings taken from Blagojevich family home. Patti Blagojevich’s is also now the famous voice in the background of the BlagoGate tapes spewing a suggestion to “just fire” some newspaper editors if the Tribune Co. hoped for state assistance to sell Wrigley Field, the dump that plays home to the the Chicago Cubs. Hmmm. Odd isn’t it? And it was also reported that the so called “highest bidder” for the senate seat was none other than Jesse Jackson Jr. (I guess that NUTS dont fall far from the tree eh?). Some ethnic Indian supporters of the governor may have been arranging a fundraiser for Blagojevich, to encourage him to select Jackson for Obama’s Senate seat. Naturally, Jackson has denied offering anything illegal to obtain the congressional office.
