Well Obama is finally getting his wish with gas prices being “gradually” hiked. As Obama’s own Energy Secretary Steven Chu put it. We need to somehow figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe. You know, $9 or $10 per gallon like Europe’s gas costs? Obama’s goal of “gradually” hiking gas prices towards Europe’s level seems to be working. Out here in California the average for a gallon of gas is at $4.19 a gallon. That a jump of 8 cents in just one day. Here’s a video from the 2008 campaign trial where a snotty Obama says he wants gas prices to “gradually” increase.
