Mitt Romney won the Virginia Super Tuesday primary tonight, but it wasn’t as easy as many assumed it would be. Romney’s only competitor in the state was Ron Paul as Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum didn’t qualify for the ballot. CNN made the call for Romney nearly 30 minutes after the polls closed. It was expected to be announced right when polls closed. Ron Paul has been polling at 40-43% so far tonight.
