According to Gallup’s polling the entire country is D+3.7. The skew of course is thanks to big liberal failure states like California, New York, Massachusetts, Illinois, etc. The best case scenario of Democrats and Obama in November is if ever Democrat and Republican in the country came out to vote, they would have a 3.7% party advantage. But that’s now going to happen as Obama’s approval rating is in the toilet (like the economy) and Republicans are far more fired up about the November election than Marxist Democrat polls. So when you see these idiotic polls like Pew’s D+19 poll giving Obama a lead in the general election, you should basically just laugh at them.
Gallup’s results find 43.7% identify themselves as Democrats while 40% identify themselves as Republicans. 40% identify themselves as conservative, and only 20.6% identify themselves as liberal.
