Could it be because it’s been proven the shooter was a radical leftist? Of course. Anyway, Pierson wrote his plan of attack on his arm with a permanent marker. He also wrote the Latin phrase ‘Alea iacta est,’ which translates to English as ‘The die Has Been Cast,'” the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
The gunman who opened fire at a Colorado high school had written in permanent marker a Latin phrase on his arm, along with a list of five areas of the school he apparently planned to attack.
Authorities said Tuesday that during an autopsy, the coroner’s office found writing on the arm of the suspect, 18-year-old Karl Pierson.
“The shooter had used an indelible marker to write a phrase in Latin on the inside of his forearm. The Latin phrase is ‘Alea iacta est,’ which translates to English as ‘The die Has Been Cast,'” the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
