For the second time in a week, the Libyan Army is holding Americans, basically hostage as Obama putts away in Hawaii. As usual, there is no reason given by the Libyan Army as to why the two Americans are being held, and the American embassy in Libya is a big ‘no comment.’ Now that’s leadership, progressive style. At least the embassy didn’t say “What difference does it make?”
Meanwhile, two Americans were being held by the Libyan army at its headquarters in the city of Benghazi, a local security source and army sources told Reuters.
The identity of the two Americans was not immediately clear nor why they were detained.
The U.S embassy in Libya could not be reached for comment.
