Ayn al-Asad Airbase is safe (for now) as ISIS has attacked and captured al-Baghdadi. This is a western Iraqi town about 10 miles from the Ayn al-Asad Airbase. The death toll from the latest jV ISIS attack is not yet known. Right now, US Marines, ‘training Iraqis’ are basically trapped at Ayn al-Asad because of ISIS capturing the next closest town in Iraq.
