Donald Trump and Ted Cruz dominated the first debate of 2016 on Fox Business. Among voters at Drudge Report with over 100,000 votes already cast, 87% of voters either selected Donald Trump or Ted Cruz as the winner. Of course Trump crushes Cruz in the poll as he has in previous Drudge polls after debates. Trump is at 57% and Cruz is at 30%. Marco Rubio seems to have had a decent debate too, scoring the highest he has so far in the Drudge poll (though only 7%).

At the time of typing this, Ben Carson is actually last in the Drudge poll behind bottom-feeders like Jeb Bush, Chris Christie and John Kasich. I didn’t think Carson did that badly, but he certainly didn’t dominate the debate. The bottom-feeders who shouldn’t have even been invited to the debate (Bush, Christie and Kasich) performed about as you would expect.
