Rush Limbaugh says Marco Rubio isn’t establishment candidate

Rush Limbaugh doesn’t like the idea of Marco Rubio being labeled an ‘establishment’ candidate, despite his past support for amnesty with the gang of eight amnesty bill. Huh? This is one is a head scratcher for me. Marco Rubio is establishment all the way. It’s the reason why Fox News has been pushing him so heavily lately after the failure of Jeb Bush. I will vote for Marco Rubio if he is the GOP nominee, just because there is no way in hell I could vote for criminal Clinton or Communist Sanders. Still I don’t get Rush’s thinking here.

Marco Rubio gave a great speech last night after coming in third place. The speech was almost like he had just won the general election and became president-elect Rubio.

Tuesday on his radio show, conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh remarked that three of the top four finishers in Monday’s Iowa caucuses were Reagan disciples, to which he included Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97%
, Ben Carson and Sen. Marco Rubio
.

Limbaugh said despite having supported the so-called Gang of Eight immigration effort, he still sees Rubio as a “full-throated conservative” and not as a “moderate Republican centrist.”

“I don’t like this idea that Marco Rubio is all of a sudden being labeled as an establishment candidate,” Limbaugh said. “I know that Rubio has got the baggage of that Gang of Eight and I know in many people’s mind he’s got the baggage of wanting to grant the current number of illegals citizenship. I understand that. But Marco Rubio is no moderate Republican centrist.”

“I don’t see Marco Rubio as anything other than a legitimate full-throated conservative,” he continued. “Nobody is pure and nobody is ever free of making mistakes.”
