Hillary Clinton’s Midas touch worked wonders again. Ibtihaj Muhammed was a darling of the American media. A Muslim fencer who wore a hijab. The media even wanted Muhammed to be the flag bearing during the opening ceremonies at the Rio Olympics and criticized Michael Phelps. What’s happened since then is typical. Michael Phelps has already won a gold medal while Ibtihaj Muhammed was eliminated in her fencing match today.

Of course, the only reason why Ibtihaj Muhammed got so much coverage in the first place, is because she’s a Muslim and the media wants everyone to believe that all Muslims are like her. Peaceful and patriotic.
Have you heard Hillary Clinton call out and root for any other American at these Olympics in Rio? Of course not. Maybe they are better off for that considered what a failure Ibtihaj Muhammed has already been.
