Why did Democrats remove statement from Harry Reid saying ‘A convicted felon is not going to be able to serve in the United States Senate?’ Because Bob Menendez

Seems like only yesterday Harry Reid was the Democrat leader in the Senate and claiming a convicted felon (referring to Alaska’s Ted Stevens at the time) could not serve in the United State Senate. Of course Ted Stevens indictment and verdict were eventually overturned. This isn’t likely to happen to corrupt New Jersey Democrat Bob Menendez though. If he gets convicted in his corruption trial, he wouldn’t be able to get it overturned. I guess Democrats are cool with convicted felons (Like Menendez should be) serving in the U.S. Senate after all. I mean, why else would they delete this from their own website?

Funny how Democrats are for felons serving in the U.S. Senate when they used to be against it.
