Damn, I should have known it was too good to be true. Reputable sources on social media were claiming hours ago that John McCain is about to resign from the Senate due to health reasons. Here are some of those tweets:

Unfortunately, this story appears to be false as McCain’s wife Cindy McCain tossed cold water all over the excitement about the crusty old war mongering RINO finally going away.

Unlike Thad Cochran who at least has to decency to resign this coming April 1st because of his health problems, McCain has no such decency and will occupy his seat in the Senate and continue to miss votes.
At least Arizona’s other big fraud, Jeff Flake is gone by January of 2019.
