CNN’s news coverage yesterday began with Russian conspiracy theories. Then the Youtube shooting happened and CNN was all over it, hoping some white, conservative NRA member shot up Youtube because they pulled gun videos. As the minutes passed and the suspect had been described as then a “white female” with a headscarf, the coverage of CNN started to slack off. When it was learned that the shooter used a hand gun, and was an Iranian left wing nut job, the story completely dispersed from CNN and it was back to Russian conspiracies. Around the time the Youtube shooter was named last night, CNN’s Don Lemon and Phil Mudd were busy talking about wetting their pants because Trump is a ‘target’ of Mueller, not under criminal investigation.

Unhinged people can be counted on to deliver colorfully deranged quotes and on Tuesday night’s CNN Tonight the reliably batty Philip Mudd, in his role as their counterterrorism analyst, did not disappoint. In reaction to the good news for President Donald Trump that Special Counsel Robert Mueller named him not a target but merely a subject for investigation, Mudd declared that subject status would make him wet his pants.

DON LEMON: All right. Mr. Philip Mudd. So what does this tell you about the Mueller investigation, this report?
