Red Hen of Lexington, Virginia is not only a boil on the ass of the state of Virginia, it’s also been as dirty as Trump described them. The Red Hen which should change their name to the Fascist Hen was hit with two health code violations in an April 2014 inspection.
One of the violations was with the “farm to table” raw beef. The other health code violation in 2014 was One cited raw beef stored above cooked ready-to-eat food and thawing meats stored above cookie bars. The other violation was not properly dated grits stored in a refrigeration unit. This place is really a shit hole!
The Red Hem, being in a loony left wing state like Virginia didn’t get any health code inspections in 2016, despite the two health code violations just two years earlier.
In January of 2017, the Red Fascist Hen had another problem, though not technically a health code violation. In January of last year, health inspectors observed pickles/jams in a hermetically sealed container. This was not from an approved food processing plant.
Why anyone would want to eat at this dive, other than progressive fascists is unknown. I would think Sarah Sanders could have found a much better place to take her kids to eat than this dive in Lexington. Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia is loaded with good, quality restaurants that would happily take Sanders’ money instead of stalking her after she left the restaurant.
