Apparently, illegal aliens who came here, well illegally only did so because of Trump’s law or something. That’s what left wing nut job Senator Mazie Hirono tried to claim anyway. Remind me again why Hawaii’s tourism industry is down the crapper. Aside from the fact that everything is so expensive and over priced there and you could get the same kind of beach/tropical feeling in Florida. There’s no attraction to go to Hawaii. Go to Florida and you don’t have to deal with any volcano.

Matthew Albence: No maam, they’re for violation of Title 8 of the US Immigration and Nationality Act. OK, US 13:25. Illegal entry is both a criminal and civil violation. They are in those FRCs pending the outcome of that civil immigration process. They have broken the law.
Sen. Hirono: Well, these are mainly… My understanding is that under zero tolerance these are no longer civil proceedings but in fact criminal proceedings.
Matthew Albence: They are criminal proceedings when the border patrol prosecuted them. But at the conclusion of that process, once the individual came into ICE custody they would go through administrative proceedings.
