Trump approved the use of Air Force 2 to transport John McCain’s dead carcass to Washington D.C.

As we finally, wrap up a week long Trump bashing masquerading as a funeral for John McCain, the media will never you this one. Despite the vicious Meghan McCain and other attacks on Trump yesterday in D.C., it was Trump himself who approved to use of Air Force 2 to transport McCain’s dead carcass from Arizona to Washington D.C. in the first place.

This means, that instead of the mutli-million dollar McCain family paying for the transportation expenses of hauling McCain’s body across country, we the tax payer got to pay for it, and the clown show that occurred on Saturday.

Ordinarily, I wouldn’t have had a problem using Air Force 2 to transport the body of a dead Senator from his home state to D.C. But the utter disrespect yesterday of Trump changed my mind on this one.

I was even beginning to feel a little sympathy for Meghan McCain. I can’t stand her, but I understand how difficult it must have been to lose her father to brain cancer. Her continued crying and sobbing at the various ceremonies almost really made me feel bad for her. But that all went out the window yesterday.

Still, Trump announced earlier this week he had greenlit military transport for McCain, saying, “At the request of the McCain family, I have also authorized military transportation of Senator McCain’s remains from Arizona to Washington, D.C., military pallbearers and band support, and a horse and caisson transport during the service at the United States Naval Academy.”

Prior to the statement, Trump was being incredibly stubborn on publicly speaking about McCain’s passing … refusing to answer questions about the Senator, and even briefly returning the White House flag to full-staff. It was eventually lowered back to half-staff.

Screw you Meghan McCain and screw your husband who created The Federalist. It’s officially off my reading list.
