Zach Rybarczyk – Washington D.C. now has a straw cop – you’ll be fined $800 if you use one after July 1 ‏

MeetZach Rybarczyk. He’s the Washington D.C. “straw cop” pulling in $60,000 (in tax payer dollars) to threaten to fine people about using plastic straws. The more I think of how crappy California is, I look to the east in places like New York, Rhode Island, Virginia and Washington D.C. and think they have outdone California. Washington D.C. banned plastic straws (like California). But what California doesn’t have are “straw cops” like Washington D.C. does now. This “straw cop” is threatening people that after July 1, if you are caught giving out or using plastic straws, you will have to pay an $800 fine.

The government has no money for border security or any sort of barrier, but they pay this “straw coo” %60,000 to threaten people and businesses in the D.C. area about using straws after July. WTF has this country come to? I knew Democrats were batshit crazy, but I never thought I’d see stuff like a straw cop or post birth abortions.

Believe it or not, Zach Rybarczyk, the straw cop has actually “been on patrol” since April of 2017. And Washington D.C. wants to become the 51st state? OH HELL NO!

The city of Washington, DC, is taking drastic measures to ensure that no restaurant in the city uses plastic straws, spending $60,000 per year to pay a “plastic straw cop” to monitor restaurants which stray from the rules.

D.C. Department of Energy and Environment inspector Zach Rybarczyk, the city’s hand-picked straw monitor, has been patrolling area restaurants to ensure their straws are paper and not plastic ever since the city’s plastic straw ban went into effect at the beginning of January, the Washington Post reported Monday.

Rybarczyk’s services do not come cheap. According to a document on salary information from D.C.’s Department of Human Resources, Rybarczyk takes home $60,472 per year as an environmental protection specialist and has been on the D.C. government’s payroll since April 2017.
