ABC: Barr is lying, collusion still possible

The tin foil hate brigade is still alive and well at ABC. Apparently, AG Barr’s four page summary (which is what it was supposed to be, a summary), has ABC and the left wing hacks at the “network” claiming that Barr is lying in his summary and that collusion with Russia is still possible. ABC also failed to mention how there are growing calls for little Adam Schiff to resign after misleading the public for over two years about collusion.

Barr isn’t stupid enough to lie just to appease Trump. Everyone knows that the Mueller report (minus classified information and grand jury testimony) will leak eventually, if not released by Barr himself. If Barr says Mueller cleared Trump on collusion, then Mueller really did clear him on collusion. I know the Democrats hoax of over two years was all they had to run on next year, but now it’s become worse than the clown show it already was. ABC is desperate. Poor little Clinton hack George Stephanopoulos must be damn near suicidal these days. ABC is starting to sound an awful lot like CNN.

The folks at ABC News were either desperately in the tank for the Democrats or they needed to get fitted for tin foil hats Thursday evening. Instead of reporting on the growing calls for House Intel Committee Chair Adam Schiff (D-CA) to resign his post, as CBS and NBC did, ABC’s World News Tonight carried water for Democrat conspiracy theories suggesting Attorney General William Barr was hiding the truth about collusion and did something improper when clearing the President of obstruction of justice.

From the get-go, fill-in anchor and senior White House correspondent Cecilia Vega was all-in for misleading viewers and spreading doubt about Barr’s summary:

He is feeling vindicated by the conclusion of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. But hanging over his victory lap this new revelation: Mueller’s still secret report is more than 300 pages long. And that is fueling new questions about the Attorney General’s brief summary, just four pages.

After suggesting it was Trump himself who “declared” “full vindication”, ABC senior national correspondent Terry Moran (who sounded like he was reporting from down a well) tried to cast doubt on that fact: “No one outside the Justice Department has actually seen the Special Counsel’s report.”

“But, today we learned that it’s long, more than 300 pages long. And all we’ve seen of it is a four-page summary by Attorney General Bill Barr, who says Mueller cleared the President on collusion with Russia,” Moran reported in a skeptical tone, “but could not reach a determination on whether Trump obstructed justice.”

And on obstruction of justice, Moran huffed about how “Barr tackled that himself, declaring there was not enough evidence to charge Trump with a crime.” But that’s not the case.
