Unlike Obama, Trump didn’t use executive privilege to hide DOJ findings in Mueller report

So the Mueller witch hunt report finally dropped today proving once again that there was absolutely no collusion with Ruskies and the Trump campaign. And there was no crime committed that Mueller and his goons could use to charge Trump with obstruction of justice. The media of course will try and spin this report in a negative light, but the witch hunt by Mueller is over. Trump could have had the DOJ withhold some parts of the Mueller witch hunt report if he so chose to do so. But unlike Obama who used executive privilege in 2012 to high details on Fast and Furious, Trump didn’t hide anything with executive privilege. What did Obama use executive privilege for?

On June 20, 2012, President Barack Obama asserted executive privilege in order to withhold certain Department of Justice documents related to the Operation Fast and Furious ahead of a United States House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress for refusing to produce the documents. Later the same day, the House Committee voted 23–17 along party lines to hold Holder in contempt of Congress over not releasing the documents.[29]

Obama also used Executive privilege in a lawsuit stemming from the 2012 implementation of the “Net Worth Sweep” against Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The Obama administration did not disclose roughly 11,000 documents from the plaintiffs in the discovery process as they related to the reasoning behind the 2012 actions.

But of course the media doesn’t mention any of this. Both were in an election year, for Obama’s second term. FUnny how that works out.
