Ilhan Omar thinks Jesus was a Palestinian or something. That may come as a shock to some of you “Easter Worshipers“. Of course Palestine did not exist when Jesus was born, it doesn’t even exist today. It’s just some made up fantasy by anti-Semitic leftists and some Muslims to bash Israel.It was a Roman construct after the Jews were finally defeated in 70 AD. Their province was named after the Philistines, who lived on the Mediterranean coast around Gaza, yet Bethlehem was not in their territory. Bethlehem is in what is now called the “Palestinian Territories” south of Jerusalem, but that only reflects its location within the former British mandate of Palestine which arose out of the dismantling of the Ottoman Empire after World War I.
