Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) said in a new interview that the Trump administration would uncover wrongdoing at the highest levels by the FBI and CIA when the Justice Department completes its review into the early stages of the investigation into the Trump campaign.
King told AM 970’s “The Answer” host John Catsimatidis that he believed there was “no legal basis” for the Justice Department under President Obama to begin an investigation into whether members of the Trump campaign were attempting to collude with Russia during the 2016 election.
“There is no doubt to me there was severe, serious abuses that were carried out in the FBI and, I believe, top levels of the CIA against the President of the United States or, at that time, presidential candidate Donald Trump,” King said.
