Turns out Ilhan Omar even lies about the nicknames she calls her father. In the now deleted tweet from 2013, Ilhan Omar wish her father Nur Said a Happy Father’s Day which brought up the questions if she married her brother for immigration fraud purposes. Her brother’s name is Ahmed Nur Said Elmi. Then an Ilhan Omar spokeshack came out and claimed that Nur Said is just a nickname Ilhan Omar calls her father, as it means “Happy Light” or something.

Turns out that was a load of crap too. Happy Happy translated from English to Somali is iftiin faraxsan. That’s using Google translate. Obviously, I don’t speak fluent Somali so that’s the only why I could translate.
