Well the CARES Act, aka the $2 trillion “stimulus” bill has finally passed the Senate. It passed 96-0 with 4 Republicans out because of quarantine from the coronavirus. The bill will pay most Americans $1,200 and you will be taxed on that. How’s that for a kick in the ass? Also included in the bill in pork for the Kennedy Center, NPR/PBS and more. It’s beyond disgusting that McConnell allowed this unrelated to coronavirus pork crap into the bill. But if you’ve watched McConnell over the decades, you’ll know this isn’t a surprise. Neither is Schumer’s $1,200 tax.
