Yesterday, you have probably seen the video of NYPD Brownshirt Francisco X Garcia first threatening to taser an innocent bystander, film a “social distancing” arrest, then punching him to the ground. Now, we know why Garcia likely acted the way he did. De Blasio threatened New Yorkers shortly before this incident took place on Twitter by telling them he has instructed the NYPD to issue summons to “anyone” who doesn’t listen to the NYPD brownshirts.

The vast majority of New Yorkers are sticking to social distancing. But some are not getting the point, as we’ve seen this weekend in Hudson River Park. I have instructed the NYPD to increase enforcement in that park. Anyone who ignores instructions by an officer gets a summons.
