Edgar Samaniego, a 20 year old AntIFA thug shot police officer Shay Mikalonis in the head near the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino. On June 1st, left wing rioters and thugs went on their rampage, which included the Las Vegas strip. The police officer, Shay Mikalonis is in grave condition. I would very surprised if the cop survived. The bullet that hit Mikalonis hit his spine and lodged in his face.

The man facing charges in the shooting of a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officer on the Las Vegas Strip Monday night made his first court appearance Wednesday morning in Las Vegas Justice Court.
The state prosecutor argued that Edgar Samaniego, 20, be held on a $1 million bail. He said Samaniego has two pending cases in the system for DUI and possession of a drug without a prescription. He was out on bail when the shooting of Officer Shay Mikalonis happened Monday night. The prosecutor said Samaniego is a danger to officers and the community.
The defense attorney representing Samaniego argued for a $100,000 bail saying the 20-year-old has minor run-ins with the law and strong local family support.
The judge said Samaniego would be held without bail because of concerns of the grave condition of the officer and him being a danger to the community. The issue of bail could be taken up at a later hearing.
Samaniego was arrested early Tuesday morning, a few hours after the shooting which happened near the Circus Circus Hotel & Casino.
Police say Samaniego shot Officer Mikalonis while law enforcement tried to break up increasingly violent protests. Mikalonis, 29, who has been on the police force for four years is in critical condition.
