This is currently a rumor, at the time of this post, nothing is confirmed, so take it with a grain of salt. But there are a lot of reports on social media going around that Atlanta police in zones 2,3,4,5,6 and 7 of Atlanta have all walked off the job. The police scanner is silent, and the failed mayor Bottoms is begging other jurisdictions for help. After the murder charges against Garret Rolfe earlier today, the police in Atlanta, and other cities have had enough of being used as scapegoats. If these walk out rumors are true, Atlanta is in serious danger tonight.

Atlanta Police Department twitter claim reports of walk out were “inaccurate”. They did confirm though that there are a higher than usual number of call outs.
Earlier suggestions that multiple officers from each zone had walked off the job were inaccurate. The department is experiencing a higher than usual number of call outs with the incoming shift. We have enough resources to maintain operations & remain able to respond to incidents.
