Alaska was never really considered a battleground state. It’s a strong Republican state, and both Trump and Senator Sullivan had around 20%+ leads in the counted votes as of last Tuesday. Eight day later, both Trump and Sullivan have finally been declared the winners of the state with around the same percentage vote difference they had on election night. Faux News was so quick to call Arizona but couldn’t call Alaska, knowing this is a deep red state? More shenanigans.

This was a REALLY BIG surprise. The Senate and Presidential races were so very close in #Alaska that it is amazing that they can even call the Senate race just over a week after the election. But heck, at least the networks could call the Arizona and Virginia races early! pic.twitter.com/UCgJsufEc8
