So not only did Mitt Romney have a complete and total meltdown at the Utah GOP convention on Saturday, needing to be saved by the Utah GOP chair, he also lied through his teeth. During the meltdown he claimed he was an entire life and that his dad was governor (and a bad one) of Michigan. While his father was governor, Romney is lying about claiming to be a Republican his entire life. During the Massachusetts Senate debate in 1994, where he got crushed by Ted Kennedy, Romney claimed he was an “independent” during the Reagan/Bush years.
