Remember the days when neocon Bill Kristol owned the Weekly Standard and was always on Fox News pretending to be a “conservative” the truth of the matter is, Kristol was never anything of the kind. He was a war cheerleader, which fit in the Fox News phony conservative agenda as they pimped George W. Bush, licked Obama’s ass and bashed Trump.
I was a strong and early critic of the war in Iraq, & Kristol and I have very different worldviews on foreign policy. But to have a discussion about strengthening liberalism and liberal institutions with people you disagree is in my view needed in a pluralistic democracy.
