Hey, remember Evan McMuffin from 2016? He was Bill Kristol’s hand selected candidate to try and syphon votes off Donald Trump in order to flip the state for Hillary Clinton. Evan McMullin (aka McMuffins) election results were as big of a joke as his candidacy. So what does McMullin do? He’s doubling down, running as an “independent” against Mike Lee in 2022. Again, the goal of Kristol’s pal McMuffin is to syphon off enough votes from Lee to flip the seat to a Democrat. But unlike 2016, McMuffin isn’t some obscure, unknown anymore. He’s a deep state CIA hack with no charisma whatsoever. He will likely get even less votes in Utah next fall than he did in 2016. Still, it’s great for a laugh at least.

I really don’t even like Mike Lee, but at least he’s no Romney. Imagine Utah with both Romney and McMuffin. This would be the left’s wet dream, but it ain’t happening. McMuffin will be lucky if he pulls 3% of the vote.
