Coronavirus malaise – Biden’s decline is Carteresque

Joe Biden has been a historic failure in politics, throughout his entire 50 years in office, whether it’s Senate, Vice President, or installed President now. In just under nine months, despite the media continuing to wipe his butt, Biden’s approval rating has tanked by historic proportions as he screwed up every he touches. Whether it’s Afghanistan, the economy, inflation or being the so called “uniter” Biden has failed at everything. He’s also failed with the COVID-19 virus, he vaccines and his communist mandates. That was the one thing everyone thought that Biden could get right, but he’s even screwed that up. While his crackhead son continues make money by selling crackpipe blown art and the media ignores it, coronavirus malaise has set in.

In the 1970’s, there was a general malaise in the country when Jimmy Carter was president. It wasn’t caused by any virus, but rather the bleak conditions in the country and it’s standing in the world. Today, things are very similar to the 1970’s, but now we have COVID malaise, and an even dumber president.

The difference between Carter and Biden is that Carter was just a bumbling, stumbling fool who was not ready for the job to be president. Unlike Biden, Carter wasn’t corrupt, having his family enrich themselves at the expense of the American people. Joe Biden is worse, he’s dumb, but a far left communist AOC type Democrat. Carter at least tried to help the country. Biden is purposely making things worse.

In a focus group last week, Pennsylvania Democrats one after another articulated the issue vexing top White House aides, party operatives in Virginia and voters in Georgia: Why isn’t President Joe Biden’s diminished job rating rebounding?

All nine participants from Tuesday’s session gave Biden C- grades or lower. And their answers circled back to a similar point: The pandemic and the many ways it continues to hinder normal life is souring their views of Biden.

One woman said she wanted to buy a car but supply chain issues were delaying new shipments to the dealership. A man complained about understaffed restaurants.

“There is a malaise,” said Sarah Longwell, a moderate Republican strategist who became a vocal supporter of Biden in 2020, and led the focus group of Democratic voters. “People don’t feel like their lives have been improved. They did sort of feel that promises aren’t being kept.”
