It’s always hard to figure out who the worst mayor in the country. One day it seems like it’s idiot Bill de Blasio in New York, other days it’s Eric Garcetti in Los Angeles. But Chicago’s Beetlejuice Lori Lightfoot is also in the group of worst mayors (historically) in American history. This is of course Chicago, a place that has kept re-electing communist Democrats for 70+ years. So I really don’t feel all that sorry for them having to deal with Beetlejuice Lightfoot. Like New York deserves de Blasio and Los Angeles deserves Garcetti, Chicago deserves Lightfoot.
Ironically, Lightfoot was booed loudly at the annual fundraiser for Plumbers Union Local 130, the first union that endorsed her 2019 runoff election. They put her on the map in Chicago in the first place. I guess they regret it now.
