The left is so excited that noname-rapper Eminem, who is basically nothing more than a parody of Bud Bundy’s Grand Master B character showed the NFL after they supposably told the rapper not to kneel. Turns out that’s complete and utter bullshit. Not only was the NFL aware that Eminem would kneel to disrespect flag and country, they even endorsed it!
The NFL said it did not attempt to stop Eminem from taking a knee during the Super Bowl LVI halftime show Sunday night in Inglewood, California.
Eminem performed with hip-hop heavyweights Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar during the well-received halftime show at SoFi Stadium. At the end of “Lose Yourself,” Eminem took a knee on the stage, put his right hand on his head and looked downward in an apparent tribute to Colin Kaepernick.
In a statement after the show concluded, spokesman Brian McCarthy said the league was aware Eminem would kneel.
“We watched all elements of the show during multiple rehearsals this week and were aware that Eminem was going to do that,” McCarthy said.
