The first mugshot of Brittney Griner, jailed WNBA player in a Russian prison came out today, and let’s just say it wasn’t too flattering. Griner goes to Russia during the WNBA offseason to play basketball because she can’t make enough playing for a league that nobody pays attention too. Oh, she also hates this country and in 2020 demanded that the WNBA stop playing the national anthem during games. Of course, if they did, no one would notice anyway.

Nobody’s asked Brittney Griner how she feels about the American national anthem lately, as I’d be very curious to hear her thoughts now that she’s in jail in Russia for drugs. As far as I’m concerned, Russia can keep her.
