So after hackity hack Chris Wallace gave a tantrum interview to the New York Times whining about his departure from Fox News, insiders at the network are hitting back at the loser who wouldn’t have a job in media if not for his father.
Fox officials have declined to comment on Wallace’s decision to stick the knife into his former employer, who are believed to have paid him around $7 million a year.
However a network insider said: ‘Clearly he’s launching a new show, so he needs eyeballs and bashing Fox is an easy way to try and get viewers to find him at his new home.’
‘Also, what a way to start – let’s announce you’re happy not to throw to Wolf Blitzer. Take note CNN, your new hire will only ever by loyal to himself and not the company that is sending a Brinks truck full of cash to his personal bank.’
